Penelope cried out in alarm when a bludger hit her, she knew she had been lucky to avoid them so far but it still really hurt. She grunted as she tried to focus on finding the snitch.
Penelope flew past the Slytherin seeker again, marveling at how young he was. Was he a first year? She couldn't lose to him, that would be embarrassing. She quickly looked around again.
Penelope couldn't help feeling bad for the young Slytherin seeker after he was hit, he looked upset and like he might cry. She tried to give him an encouraging smile, but then focused on her task again.
Penelope was nervous about this match, but she was secretly a little relieved it wasn't the match for the cup. That took a lot of the pressure off, at least. She waited anxiously, glancing at the stands. She was glad Chase wasn't one for big speeches, they just tended to make her more nervous...
