Corvin arrived at St. Mungos unannounced as he made his way to the nurses desk to see about getting a last minute check up before he head off to Egypt to chase a wild dragon away from a muggle city. The local ministry was having a hard time dealing with the dragon and their for contacted his office to see if he would be able to offer support which he agreed to though with such a short notice he would only be able to head out in the morning as he was still dealing with the pixie outbreak that happened around the ministry earlier today. Besides that he always liked to get a check up and physical before heading out of the country as there was always a chance that he could be injured or catch something and so he would need to know if he had any medical problems ahead of time so he could inform the healers who needed to patch him up. Chasing dragons was a rather dangerous occupation and one that earned him several rather impressive scars across his muscular frame all of which had a story though not all of them was from his job as some where from his years a quidditch player an equally dangerous occupation if he had anything to say about it.

The nurse directed him to the waiting area after she informed him that there was an opening in roughly ten minutes though she did encourage him to make future appointments if he need a check up. Nodding sheepishly as he scratched the back of his head and flashed a pearly white smile at the pleasant woman who chuckled before heading off to find someone to look after him. Sitting down in a plush chair he found that he was surrounded by some rather interesting character though he did try to keep his distance as some of them looked simply contagious particularly the hag sitting two seats down from him with a lime green rashes that seemed to move and bubble causing him so shudder as he picked up witches weekly off the table and began flipping through the pages. The gossip magazine was entertaining enough as he read about yet another witch celebrity heartbreaking break up with long time quidditch captain not only that but he was informed of a hundred ways to keep your man interested... a thought that had him snorting for roughly ten minutes straight much to the annoyance of the hag who glared at him with her evil looking rash. It was at this moment that the pleasant nurse can wandering out and called his name which he quickly jumped to his feet as he bowed an apology at the hag before being ushered behind the door that separated the waiting area from the rest of the hospital.

Shine white floors and the smell of disinfectant tickled his noses as he weaved in out of people and patiently as he followed the nurse to his next destination. After a a couple of moments she ushered him into a small room with a a bed and shiny counter as she informed him that a healer would be with him shortly before she closed the door and made her way off to gather the next patient. Alone in the small room, Corvin sat down on that rather awkward bed that was covered in that loud paper, the one that crinkled so loud that you swore that the people on the street could here you moving, but that lasted for about a minute before he was on his feet again. Curiosity was one of the those dangerous things for someone like Corvin who often got in trouble when he was left to his own devices for far too long which was made painstakingly clear as he began to rummage through the drawers and closet in the room with little to no concern at his harmless inquiry. But like a kid with his hand in the cookie jar the door swung open as the healer made his way into the room causing Corvin to flinch and duck his head guiltily as he closed the drawer in which he had just opened and turned slowly as he came face to face with a beautiful stranger.

"sup doc?"

It was a slow day at work for Michael. It seemed people had decided to stay out of the kind of trouble that could get themselves hurt today. Some days Michael would be called in for emergency's every hour. Working in the spell damage department was no picnic. People would come in with half their head blown up to an irrational size, or they might have fused their clothes to themselves. Michael saw a lot of strange things that people had accidentally done with incorrectly cast spells. Currently however, there were no emergency's and if there was, Michael didn't have to deal with them. He was working in his other ward today, helping the residential patients. Michael enjoyed the nice mix of the two jobs at St. Mungo's. The fast paced panic of spell damage with the quiet caring of the witches and wizards in the residential ward. Currently the healer was wasting his time playing chess with one of the patients. Michael was absolutely shocking at it, but the old man thoroughly enjoyed playing with him. Beating him probably came as part of the fun as well, Michael thought.

Michael was distracted out of his staring at the board trying to think of a good move by a tingle in his lime green healer jacket. Pulling the device, which acted like a magically powered cell phone, out of his pocket, Michael answered the call. "No, that's fine Rosie, I'll be right there," he replied before clicking the device and returning it to his pocket. "Sorry Mr. Jenkins, you'll have to beat me another time," Michael grinned as he excused himself from the room. He'd been called to do a check up and if he had been doing anything more important than just playing chess, Michael would have refused. Check-ups bored him as they were usually just paranoid people who thought that they had every kind of illness they could possibly have, when in actual fact they were perfectly fine. Letting out a sigh, Michael strolled down the corridors, saying hi to familiar faces before he reached the secretary's desk. "Hey Rosie," Michael greeted her, picking up the clipboard with the patients details on it. The secretary told him that the patient was waiting in room three and Michael nodded in understanding. Just as he was heading towards the room, he heard her call out behind him, "behave!" He turned his head back towards her with a raised eyebrow, a surge of curiosity running through him. Rosie knew exactly what he was like and their playful relationship had brought them to be close friends. "Don't I always?" Michael replied, sending a wicked grin her way. The other people in the waiting room looked on confused but Rosie just smiled and shook her head.

Eager to see what Rosie was talking about Michael made it to room three and pushed the door open. He saw a man about his age going through the drawers. Michael raised an eyebrow and watched as the other man pushed the drawer closed and turned to face him. Oh. I get it now. Michael thought to himself as he admired the attractive features of the other man. Good job Rosie. Michael let a small grin slip onto his face as he placed the clipboard down on the desk in the room. "Looking for anything in particular?" he asked casually.
