Is it that wooden thing the teachers always take?
The air was warm as Saria walked up t the entrance at St. Mugo's. She had an appointment set up to do a check up. Her parents told her that it would be a regular thing now. She would go in once a month to see the doctors and find out if there's anything going on with her head. This was all just a precaution, keeping her from getting hurt any further. Saria straitened out her skirt and adjusted her shirt. She took a breath before entering the building. Her parents had attached a piece of paper to the front of her denim jacket for the doctors to look at. They didn't expect Saria to remember why she was going. It was a bit discouraging in her opinion. She wasn't five. Saria understood that she didn't have the best memory, but, could it really be that bad? She hoped for her sake, it wasn't.

As Saria approached the front desk she looked down. The lady operating the desk saw the note and asked for it. Slowly Saria unpinned it and gave it to her. It had all of her medical history pinned under it in an envelope. Saria felt embarrassed, like a child. The nurse asked her to take a seat, and wait patiently. Saria played with her nails as she looked around the room. She hated hospitals. They made her feel uncomfortable. in fact, she didn't really like doctors anymore. When she blinked her eyes, she could see the image of the doctors pronouncing her sister dead. She snapped her eyes open. She couldn't do that to herself, she couldn't take it right now.

A Nurse called out Saria's name and lead her back to the doctor's room. She did the basic things, asked her why she was there and such. Then she left the room. Saria felt like she wasn't going to be okay. She felt sick to her stomach. She just wanted this to be over with, and the doctor to hurry up.

It was another busy day for Oogi. Being a healer was not all that easy business
as Oogi thought it would be. Growing up, he had always wanted to become a
healer like the rest of his family. His mother, father, and his siblings were all
healers, it was a tradition of sort in the family, and he wanted to carry on the
tradition by becoming a healer himself. Sometimes he wondered as to what
his options might be if he decided to pursue a career in becoming a doctor in
the muggle world. Today was an exceptionally busy day. Oogi has several
different patience to visit, several different people to give attention to, and so
far, his nurses were doing a great job into helping him manage everything.
If it weren't for his nurses, he would be in all kinds of mess right now. As Oogi
walked through the hallway, he grabbed a clipboard from the front of the desk
for the next patient's information. After he had grabbed the clipboard, Oogi
started to make his way to the room, when he was suddenly distracted by a
patient who was constantly crying. He quickly hurried up to the patient to give
them some medicine to calm down. 'Nurse, please give 2 more doses of
this medicine to this patient, and keep close eyes.'
Said Oogi as he slowly
started to walk away from the patient. Looking at the nurses and seeing them
agree to his requested task, Oogi made his way to his next patient's room. He
just wanted this day to end so that he could have a chance to go home, sit
in his big hot tub, and enjoy the stress-free environment. But he had still a
few more patient for the day before he would be able to go home. Making
his way to the patient's room, he opened the door slowly, while looking at his
clipboard, he noticed a familiar name. "Good Afternoon, Miss... Kaung,
is it?"
Asked Oogi as he looked up at the patient. He could not believe
what he was seeing in from of him. The girl that he loved was right in front of
him, and many months ago, the two had broken up due to several different
reasons. Oogi stepped back a little bit, gazing his eyes upon Saria, and then
said, "Saria... How.. how.. how's it going?" Oogi was in a bit of a shock.

Saria had been sitting on the table, swinging her legs back and fourth. She had her eyes on a jar of colorful lollipops across the room. She knew they were for the patients who got shots, but maybe the doctor would give her one if she asked nicely. Would he? Or would she? When the doctor came in, Saria gave a big childish smile to him. She was clueless as to what had happened months earlier at the bar, and she was clueless as to what they held in their history. "Hi!" She answered eagerly, all she wanted now was a lollipop. Maybe an orange one. or a pink one. She loved the pink ones. They tasted like watermelons!

Saria gave the Doctor a curious look and felt terrible. it was obvious he knew her. The way he acted. Saria had started recognizing the look people would give her when they knew her; or even when they didn't know her. She just knew he was someone she could remember. She closed her eyes tight in though, as if he wasn't standing in the room. She just couldn't remember. She flopped back on the patient bed and looked up at the ceiling. She wished it was stucco, like her ceiling back home was. She could make shapes all day out of the ceiling. She looked over at the doctor from her bed and sighed. "I don't remember you." She said in a confused tone. She always felt bad when she couldn't remember someone.

Saria could remember people if she saw them a lot, like every day or every other day. Gen was the first person she really had any memories of. She watched home videos all the time, and it seemed as if she could remember better when she was with her sister. Saria turned her head away from the doctor and back up to the ceiling, trying to clear her sister out of her thoughts. it was still hard for Saria to even acknowledge what had happened.

There she was. After all these months, she was right in front of him after all these
months that she had disappeared. To Oogi, it didn't feel that long ago that he was
searching for her, left and right, trying to find where she had gone to, after the
bar incident many months ago, she was no where to be found. He had a hunch as
to who may have been behind this whole problem, but he didn't know how to trace
everything. Although, most of it was in his past now, and he learned to move on
after a while. Continues nights of searching, and sometimes being so depressed
during some nights, Oogi forced himself to move on after a while. Regardless,
the present was something Oogi wanted to concentrate on and right now, he had
Saria in front of him. Gazing his eyes from top to bottom, she was pretty much
exactly the same person he had remembered her to be. Taking a deep breath,
Oogi looked down at his clipboard. "That's a bummer you don't remember
who I am."
Said Oogi as he paced around the room, looking at the clipboard
and studying Saria's current situation. "So... Miss Kaung, you are here today
for your monthly checkup, am I correct?"
Asked Oogi as he looked back at
her. Such beauty, Oogi was having a hard time keeping his eyes to himself.
Te girl he fell in love with was sitting right in front of him, and he had to control
himself. Although there were many questions he had on his mind right now.
Where had Saria been all this time? What was she doing? Many different
question along that nature. But Oogi got a grip on himself and decided to just
suppress everything inside him, and take this slowly. He didn't want to lose
his job or else his family would be really upset with him. Even though he lived
by himself, Oogi usually sent money back to USA, as well as India to support his family.

Saria heard his voice, something that she wished she could comprehend. No one could ever understand how hard, unless they were also effected. She couldn't remember anyone, anything, and it was scary and frustrating. She looked around the room, still laying down. She listened to him as he called her Miss Kuang. She didn't like being called Miss Kuang. It reminded her of how formal her mother was. "Call me Saria! Kay?" She asked, her voice high and childish like always. She didn't want to be formal. That was an adult thing to do, and she was not an adult. Well, technically she was.

"Yeah, mom said to tell you..." She paused slightly. She couldn't think of what her mom wanted her to say. She felt into her jacket pocket and found another note. "Tell the doctor you need a refill on your melanin reducing pills." She looked over the top of the paper at him. She wasn't entirely sure what melanin was, honestly. She was sure it was the reason her eyes were black though. She had heard everything they had said. they worried about her a lot.

Saria looked back at the ceiling. She had been starring at him, and felt blush on her cheeks. Why did she feel that way? She closed her eyes again, trying to remember if maybe they had been awkward before. For the life of her, she just couldn't remember.

Things were kind of weird at this point right now. Oogi didn't know what to
do and how to do it. Granted he knew how to do his job, but when it came
to talking with girls, and being sort of social, he was not the best guy for
the job. What should Oogi think of this girl in front of him? Someone of
interest, or as a patient? He didn't really know what to think at this point,
although what did know was that he had to do his job. Listening to Saria
state that her mother told her to notify him to refill her melanin reducing
pills, Oogi kept looking at his clipboard and checking things off, writing
a few notes down, and then putting away his clipboard, he sat back in
his seat and then looked at Saria once again. He could tell that there was
something off about her. It as as if Saria was forcing pressure on her
memory trying to remember something. Oogi started to laugh a little
bit and then looking at Saria, said, "Your pills will be refilled, Saria.
Although I would advise you not to hammer your head with such curiosity
at this point."
Oogi didn't want her to do any damage to her nerves,
as well as her full brain functions. "Just relax yourself. Your memory
will slowly start to heal on its own. For now, tell me what's on your mind"

Asked Oogi as he crossed his legs, reaching for his clipboard again.

Saria had not been known to keep her mind on something for more than a few moments. It was a part of living with her disease. She looked around the hospital room. She didn't think she had ever liked hospitals. Saria really couldn't remember though, she may have liked them as a kid. She didn't think so though. She smiled at the doctor absentmindedly as he looked at her. There was this sense of de ja vu that ran through Saria's veins. Did she know him? she couldn't remember. How did he know that she was trying to remember. "You're really smart!" She said with a smile on her face, sitting up a little straighter.

She wiggled her toes in her shoes, and then wiggled her ankles, and then began swinging her legs back and fourth. They were low and gentle kicks. She looked at him with a tilted head. "i don't know." She looked around. "Wait! I do know. Mom said to ask you about my dreams!" She exclaimed. She looked around the room and bit her lower lip, trying hard to remember what she was supposed to ask him about them. "Does my medication effect my dreams?" She had been having strange dreams; or a strange dream. For the past few months, almost ever night, she had the same dream. It made it easier to remember the dream. she didn't understand it, and she knew that he wasn't going to be able to know if it was the medication or not. He wasn't a therapist. Did he need to be one of those? She wasn't sure, but she assumed that it was so.
