Three seers and we didn't see this coming

As the healer conducted many tests in her Elvera took the small vial of pain potion, glad that almost instantly the pain in her stomach stopped again. a bit of time passes as the results were processed, and as she waited she went between holding Edens hand for reassurance, clenching her own hands together and fidgeting with her long dark yet slightly unkempt hair.
when the results were back she took her twins hand. the look on the healers face told here it wasn't good news and she needed Eden now more than ever. at the healers advice to take a deep breath she did so her free hand going up to her neck and the stone hanging from it. she wished for the suspense to be over and for her to know the diagnosis.
when the words were finally out she felt her heart drop it now felt like it was sitting rather heavily on her diaphragm making it hard to breath. her mouth went dry making it hard for her to say anything and her eyes started pricking though she felt mo tears forming though she was sure they would come soon when the news fully sank in. she looked at the floor she didn't know what to do. a dream for her future (though how far in the future she hadn't thought about) had just been smashed down and all she could do was sit there and wonder what was next. eventually after what felt like hours. she was able to get a few words out. "what about. what about the pain? can you stop that" she said although it was nothing to do with what she had just been told she didn't know what to say on that topic and was trying to suppress it, surely she must have misheard said her concious mind, but her subconscious, disagreed, and she trusted that subconscious as that was the part where divination worked. she managed to swallow loosening the lump that she hadn't realised had formed in the back of her throat. i seemed like this lump had been acting as some form of stopper as then tears started to come slowly forming and running down her cheeks before getting faster and more frequent. she turned to Eden and hugged her burying her head on her shoulder. She needed the reassurance of having her twin close.
